Scanning

Full colour, high resolution image capture of printed media, artwork and film. Bound books and magazines up to oversize A4 are scanned robotically at up to 2500 pages per hours. Oversized items up to A0 are scanned manually

Image processing

The facsimile pages can be enhanced, cropped, straightened, dimentionally and optically normalised and output in multiple formats. Finished pages are named to specified naming convention and delivered via upload, FTP or portable media

Content creation

Using optical character recognition (OCR), we convert the facsimile page to full text and tag with metadata. Our custom OCR engines  have converted early printed books and multiple languages including Japanese and Chinese

Success Stories

In September 2019, we successfully digitised 40,000 pages of THE FACE magazine for the Hymag Library. The Face is a British music, fashion and culture monthly magazine originally published from 1980 to 2004, and relaunched in 2019. The magazine was scanned in house on our Treventus ScanRobot at an average of 1560 pages per hour.

32 Years of Experience

Our digital imaging experience started in 1988 working for the City of London police, digitising and overlaying maps of the City for the "Ring of Steel" fortified zone. This was soon followed by newspaper conversions for The Times and Economist newspapers.
